How to request drone data in India
Write a brief that helps your drone service provider scope capture, permissions, outputs, schedule and a reliable quotation.
Give the provider a usable site brief.
Share the site location, a boundary, access contact and the reason for commissioning capture. State the date by which the data must support a decision, not just the preferred flight date. Describe known obstacles, restricted areas and operational hazards.
Ask for outputs, not just a flight.
Specify whether you need photographs, an orthomosaic, a surface model, quantities or an inspection register. Include your required coordinate system, file formats, quality checks and viewer access. If these are unknown, request a scoping discussion rather than accepting a package that cannot answer the project question.
Compare like-for-like quotations.
Separate mobilization, field capture, processing, review and recurring visits. Clarify permission responsibilities, weather delays, reflight criteria, data ownership, storage and retention. Do not assume the lowest flight-only quote includes engineering-ready deliverables.
Approve a sample and acceptance gate.
For multi-site or repeated work, validate a representative capture and handover first. Make acceptance criteria explicit and agree how rejected or incomplete deliverables will be corrected. Falcon AI data requests can be scoped around this field-to-office handover.
Let’s work with your real brief.
Bring a site, a dataset or a hardware requirement.
